[OOC] Memory 1 (Neutral-Trivial)
What Happened
Devin comes down for breakfast one morning during high school (breakfast = cereal with something funny in it) and comes out to his mom. Generally speaking, he's not the kinda guy who gives half a damn about what other people think, but!! that doesn't make him blind to bullying/other people having problems. So after seeing something at school that made him :/, he decides to make sure his mom knows that he's bi. Because if there is anyone in the world whose opinion he cares about, it's his mom's.
He comes out, Mom is awesome, the conversation takes approximately two seconds, and what little worrying Devin DID do about the subject was totally misplaced.
What He Learned
+ Doesn't live in a restaurant after all? Unless this is a totally different restaurant.
+ ... Mom doesn't seem like she has mafia connections either ...
+ Really this was a pretty mundane conversation. And a pretty mundane breakfast.
+ HIGHSCHOOL!! and a brief peek into what that entails.
+ I am bisexual! Hooray!
+ Also knows that he doesn't really have any issues with this fact.
+ Other people do, though, and high school isn't always a friendly environment for that kind of thing.
+ Mom is totally awesome. Not sure where Dad is in the memory; got the impression that Dad isn't relevant in general.
+ Cereal = yummy, especially with weird/awesome stuff on top of it.

OOC Stuff
One of the MANY JOYS of being friends with one of Dev's creators is being able to ask them stupid shit. So naturally one of my first questions was "is Devin bi??" and they said "yep, he sure is." I think me and Asidian also briefly discussed how Dev's mom was probably fine with it and Dev was fine with it and it was generally a non-issue. So! Dev = canonly bi. This specific scene is headcanon, however.
